weddings

I photograph a very limited number of weddings each year and specialize in those considered a bit more funky than traditional church weddings, or where I am considered a bit more familiar than just the photographer. I have photographed a bride skiing down a mountain as the processional, in 10 degree weather. I have hauled butterflies up 2,000 feet of elevation on a dirt road as I listened to them flutter waiting for their release. I have hiked with a 27 person bridal party a mile to get to a certain field. I have bustled trains, sewed buttons, zipped brides into their dresses, fixed flowers, handed out countless lollipops to fidgety flower girls, tied ties, and in a more rare situation, gone and picked-up the cake. And another time, the maid of honor from the salon. (Maybe it’s not as rare as I thought.)

And I’ve dried a lot of tears. That aren’t always mine. That part might be my favorite.

I’m not the wedding photographer for everyone. But, if I am the wedding photographer for you, chances are we are going to be good friends by the end of the night, if we aren’t already.

Wedding coverage starts at $1800 and always includes your digital negatives and full releases for printing and usage.

And sometimes it includes cake pick-up and butterfly hauling.
